The rooms was very spacious as it was a full “apartment “, loved this. Loved having full use of a kitchen as I am a picky eater and a great cook, so we prefer out own cooking. I didn’t use the pool because we were out hiking most of our time there but it looked nice and inviting. And the view, being surrounded by the mountains was lovely.

So much to do and see with Canmore being your base.
So much to do and see with Canmore being your base. It’s an easy quick trip to Banff without the hoards of tourists that are in Banff. Canmore has a cosy downtown with lots of activities in the surrounding area. It’s a great area to stay in!
Visited Grizzly Paw Brewing Company, Murriettas and Bridgette. All had great service!
Stayed in private owner suite at Solara. Young child friendly pool and huge hot tub area. Has a small restaurant and a liquor store.
Twilight Soak at Nordic Spa in Kananaskis area was fun and relaxing!

Canmore is a great little town right in the heart of the rockies. It is very close to Banff, without the cost of staying right in Banff. It is close to many outdoor activities for both summer and winter. Both Lake Louise and Sunshine Village ski resorts are within an hour. There are lots of hiking opportunities with some even starting in town. We have enjoyed many of the local restaurants, and there is a lot of variety to please any palate. While it can sometimes get busy, it is easy to get around and easily walkable for most people.

It is a lovely town with world-class views of the rocky almost on your doorstep on both sides. It's not as busy or touristy as Banff and it has some wonderful shops. It has two supermarkets both offering a massive choice of goods, and plenty of restaurants. There is the Nordic Centre which is brilliant for hiking in summer and cross-country trails in winter. I could easily live there. The only downside is that it is expensive, as is Canada in general.

I'm not sure what there is to do in Canmore, been there may times and never once done anything worth remembering. I've heard there are caves and great hiking trails. Unfortunately nothing is well marked and haven't stumbled across them yet.
bed was clean, room was simple, bathroom floor was cracked but its an older building and we had no towels but when i called to get some they brought it up within 5 minutes. Very nice staff. I knew what to expect when i booked here, and it is an older place but perfect if you just need a place to lay your head. In all honestly when you're in beautiful country like the Canmore /Banff region, who needs a big spacious hotel room when you just need a place to sleep
The location of this hotel and the views are unmatched by any other hotel in Canmore. The Malcolm is within walking distance of main street and many hotels and restaurants. You have 360 views of the mountains, including a stunning view of The Three Sisters mountains from the hot tub and pool area. The hotel is beautifully decorated and provides a very relaxing atmosphere for a weekend getaway.
The hotel is in the center of Canmore, but due to the extremely cold weather, we did not leave it. The suite with two bedrooms and jacuzzi was very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped, as is the entire suite. The pool is great with hot water and a hot tub.
Check in and Check out was very easy with codes instead of keys.
The hotel has a garage which is extraordinary
The hotel is really well located, a few minutes drive from Canmore's supermarket and easily accessible when you come from Banff. There are a lot of parking spots available at the hotel. The hall is beautiful and welcoming. The room is clean, the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The free Starbucks coffee filter packs in your room, refilled everyday is a really nice touch.
Very nice hotel to stay. 20mins to Banff Town. Staffs are very friendly, room is clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants close by. Breakfast is included which is nice. We understand the price goes up in summer, We have to pay over 1000 Canadian dollars for two nights, but overall, we satisfied our stay at Pocaterra Inn & Waterslide.
Bus stop outside of hotel with direct bus to Banff. Town centre had lots of shops and restaurants. Canmore is a beautiful town and had its own stunning hikes that are well worth doing. Nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle and crowds in Banff. Great views of railway and mountains. Room stocked with tea and coffee
Love that the hotel was close to Hwy 1 Trans-Canada hwy & close to the Canmore Visitor Centre. Dwntn Canmore was a mere 2 miles away. Each room had a gas fireplace, which was nice. We were on the same side of a Tim Hortons & 2 gas stations! I say location makes all the difference in the World. We really lucked out.
It was nice to have multiple balconies and 2 floors of space to utilize especially with a group of 10 people. If you are planning a family reunion I would say this is a perfect spot for it. Great proximity to Banff or Lake Louise for day trips and plenty to see by the hotel as its right downtown Canmore.
Spacious condo, also comfortable beds, and looks just like the pictures. It’s right in the middle of downtown Canmore where we could access shops and restaurants by foot and only a 23 minute drive to downtown Banff.
I was using the Roam bus to get to conference in Banff. The location is very good if you are busing. Policeman's Creek , literally a nice looking creek with ducks, is behind the hotel, the town centre is close.
The location is very accessible, it is near the center of Canmore. The view from the balcony of the hotel is perfect. The rocky mountain can be seen from the balcony. The price per night is also affordable.
Hotel was close to restaurant. Only 20 minutes drive to Banff. Room was neat and clean. Breakfast was also good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Helpful in explaining the great tourist attractions.
Great hotel in a good location for exploring
Breakfast was included and was great for the price. They even had almond milk. First hotel in Canada to have an alternative milk, so pleasantly surprised
The location is close to restaurants, groceries and Canmore downtown. The room is clean and comfortable. Very spacious and dog-friendly hotel. The staff is accommodating and warm. Best for families
Loved the rustic feel, the staff were lovely. We were invited to a barbecue for Canada Day and it was so nice to meet everyone. Views to die for, peaceful and tranquil and great facilities.
